We have just purchased our Oxford location

The Sunset Communities Social Enterprises have just purchased 18 Water Street in Oxford which is the location of our Thrift Store, Laundromat and Cafe.

We embarked on the development of our new social enterprise back in 2018.  We opened our Laundry, Thrift Store and Café in April of that year.  With the purchase of the building, Sunset is putting down permanent roots in the community at the heart of the Town’s business core.  Community support for our new venture has been incredible from the very beginning and we appreciate every customer and every visitor.  Achieving financial stability, providing employment and contributing to the local economy are very important to us but at the heart of our venture is the programs we are able to provide to our participants and who take part in our other supporting services.

Sunset created this social enterprise for them, and their talent and commitment is what drives our operation to succeed.  Part of The Sunset Community mission statement says “People helping people be the best they can be” –  that will continue to be our guide as we improve our programs and increase the number of participants we are able to serve.  Thank you for everyone’s support and hard work.  Our future looks very bright in Oxford!
