For over 125 years, The Sunset Community Inc. has been a leader in providing health and holistic services to adults with diverse abilities to reach their full potential. As a non-profit organization, we provide safe and supportive living, learning, and work environments so that each individual can live personally satisfying and meaningful lives.

We are a leader in removing barriers which prevent those which we support from having access to choices through our person-centered philosophy of care. Our Community includes several different entities, including two Social Enterprises (one in Oxford, N.S., and the other in Pugwash, N.S.), a group home (Driftwood Cottage), an Adult Residential Centre (ARC), and an Independent Living Program.
