Crafting Skills, Creativity, and Sustainability

Crafting Skills, Creativity, and Sustainability

Our woodworking shop offers a unique opportunity for employees to develop hands-on skills with tools and equipment while building awareness about safety and cultivating strong work habits. It’s also a space where creativity flourishes and confidence grows.

We proudly produce a variety of high-quality items, including picnic tables, outdoor planters, holiday decorations, deck storage boxes, garbage and recycling bins, and kindling. Each piece reflects the craftsmanship and dedication of our team.

Committed to sustainability, Sunset partners with Cross Roads Cycles in Pugwash to repurpose off-cuts and waste materials from their projects, transforming them into functional and beautiful products. This partnership aligns with our commitment to waste reduction and environmental stewardship.

For current pricing, contact Wade Adshade at (902) 243-2664 or by email. Better yet, if you’re in the area, stop by our shop at 2846 Crowley Rd., Pugwash, to see our work and have a chat. We’d love to show you what we’re creating!

A Dedicated Craftsman in Our Wood Shop

A Dedicated Craftsman in Our Wood Shop

Meet Alex, a valued member of our wood shop team at Sunset Industries for an impressive 11 years. Throughout his time with us, Alex has honed his skills and contributed to a wide range of projects.

Initially focused on custom build projects through our vocational program, Alex has since transitioned to creating high-quality garbage bins and other large-scale items for sale at our Pugwash site. His dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence have made him an integral part of our team and the success of our wood shop.
