Seashell Cove

Seashell Cove (also known as Transition Cove) Seashell Cove (also known as Transition Cove) is a supportive living space where individuals build practical skills, routines, and confidence to live well in the community of their choice, with just enough support to promote autonomy, connection, and success.

At Seashell Cove, Our goal is to support individuals in living full lives with the right mix of support, relationships, and autonomy. With up to five participants supported by one staff member per shift, there is time for hands-on learning through everyday experiences.

This cove is different from other areas of the building, where staff often take care of things like meals, snacks, drinks, or cleaning. Here, participants are encouraged to take the lead in managing their own daily routines. They’re learning to do their own laundry, prepare meals and snacks, tidy their space, and keep shared areas clean in readiness for living within their chosen community.

Beyond household tasks, participants are also developing other key life skills—including managing money, budgeting for personal expenses, grocery shopping, and making everyday decisions about how they spend their time. These are all essential parts of life that help foster confidence, self-direction, and the ability to live well with just enough support and meaningful connections in place.

Seashell Cove is more than just a place to live—it’s a place to grow. It provides a supportive environment where individuals gain the skills they need for a successful transition into community living.
